We collect the minimum amount of data necessary to provide our services:

- Group Information: We collect group information when voluntarily provided via our participation form.
- Aggregated Usage Data: We collect non-identifiable technical information, including page views and general device specifications, to monitor site performance and usage patterns.
Use of information
Collected information is used exclusively for the following purposes:
- To provide requested updates and communications.
- To build and maintain a public map of groups participating.
- To respond to user inquiries.

DeFlock does not sell your personal information to third parties. Aside from the intentional public display of your voluntarily submitted group data on our map, we do not share your personal information with third parties.
Third-party services & infrastructure
We utilize specific service providers to maintain site security and functionality:
- Self-Hosted Form.io: We operate a self-hosted instance of Form.io for data intake. All submission data is processed on our controlled infrastructure and is not shared with Form.io’s commercial entity.
- Umami Analytics: We use Umami for privacy-centric, aggregated analytics. This service does not utilize individual tracking or advertising profiles.
- Cloudflare: We use Cloudflare for content delivery and security. Cloudflare provides aggregated performance metrics and protects the site against automated threats.
Cookies and tracking
- Functional & Analytical Data: Our configurations of Form.io and Umami do not utilize cookies.
- Security Cookies: Cloudflare may deploy strictly necessary cookies for security purposes, such as bot management. These cookies do not track users across unrelated websites. For further details, please refer to Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.
- User Control: Users may manage or disable cookies through their individual browser settings.
Data retention and user rights
